Overview

Built a native Android app that lets users browse, save, and manage WhatsApp stories from their contacts.

Implemented background services for story watching and notifications when new statuses are posted.

Integrated Google AdMob for monetization and in-app billing for a premium version with auto-save and ad removal.

Used Glide and Picasso for efficient image loading and UniversalVideoView for video playback.

Problem Statement

WhatsApp stories disappear after 24 hours with no built-in way to save them — this app provides a native gallery experience for viewing, saving, and organizing statuses.
